Built on the farm Arendsnes (Eagle's Nest), the cableway is situated on 150 hectares of indigenous bushveld and is the home of the endangered Black Eagle. The Fish Eagle and White Backed Vulture are regular visitors.

I just found out that the Cableway has been closed for the passed 3/4 years. There is talk of re-opening it up but not much progress has been made....pity - last time i was up there i was a kid and i loved it - now i have kids - would have been great to share the experience with them....
