Learners receive therapy in groups or individually. Remedial, Speech, and Occupational therapists as well as the psychologists work together with qualified, experienced class teachers to form a multi-disciplinary team. This team, as well as the principal and a medical specialist (neurologist) use the holistic approach, hereby catering for every individual's needs. Feedback is also given to the parents in order to ensure they fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of their child, as well as progress made.

Learners receive therapy in groups twice or three times a week. The speech therapist also goes into classes for language enrichment and auditory training, as it enables a larger number of children to receive therapy. Home programs are also given in order to reinforce that which has been completed during therapy sessions. Co-operation of all people involved with the child ensures progress.

HOW TO OBTAIN ADMISSION TO LANTERN SCHOOL:
