Black Pearl has been performing a variety of live music entertainment suited for weddings, corporate functions, product launches and birthday parties.

When imagining the dream wedding, thoughts of Hollywood movies often pop in our minds. Beautiful décor, champagne and a dreamy ambiance would not be complete without musicians and live music.  For couples that are in the process of planning their perfect wedding, it is not an option to go with second best.

With many years of performance expertise, both as individual musicians and working in ensemble settings, clients are guaranteed to experience the best music that is suited specifically to every event and occasion.

All musical style and genre are offered by Black Pearl. This enables the band to provide music for the entire duration of the event, including light background jazz, up-tempo swing, blues and 70’s & 80’s Rock Cover songs. Depending on what the song requirements are, the ensemble may comprise of any number of musicians - from a 3-piece band upwards. One-man musical performers are also available, such as saxophonist, violinist or pianist.

Based in Johannesburg, Black Pearl travels to desired wedding locations to perform. “ We have traveled around the country, even to game reserves to perform at wedding receptions,” says Brian Smith (multi-wind instrumentalist) of Black Pearl.
