Kitty Kaya Cattery / Cat Hotel is the realisation of a life long dream to build a cat hotel,specialised accommodation for cats. Kitty Kaya offers luxury accomodation for cats with every guest receiving individual personal care & attention. Only the best foods are offered and special meals prepared when guests have particular requirements. The regular menu includes Royal Canin, Hills and Iams. Friskies and Whiskas sachets, shredded tuna, pilchards in tomato sauce, steamed chicken breast and poached hake fillets are offered to create variety. Veterinary diets are provided on request.
The apartments have been carefully designed to meet feline needs. The units are brick & tile with insulation & ceilings so that the units remain cool in summer, warm in winter & the noise of summer storms on the roofs is reduced. Each apartment has a scratching block, logs to play on, padded igloos, cushions and fleecy blankets, hot water bottles and heating in winter, private patios with sunny areas and cool shade, potted grass...... everything your cat could wish for!
The apartments face the main house from where we can watch our guests.
Only cats who normally live together are accommodated together.We have two "high care" units as well! Two of the bedrooms in the main house have been converted for guests who need extra care. Caged gardens have been built from the windows so that the guests can go outside safely. The one room has a ramp from the window into the garden so that the senior feline citizens whose bones hurt if they jump can also enjoy the garden and fresh air.
