More than a decade ago the brothers Rob and Bruce Shaw had the foresight to introduce to South Africa specialised pumps for known specific requirements. Backed by the determination to succeed they introduced a range of  Magnetic Drive Pumps. This action has subsequently proved to be a milestone in the South African pump industry.

In March 2001 they then formed a new company, namely Bru-Quip (Pty) Ltd.  Bru-Quip's immediate goal is to become South Africa's leading manufacturer and supplier of liquid ring vacuum pumps.  The trade name of Bru-Vac will soon become the trusted name in the market place.

We also specialize in complete vacuum systems, as well as vacuum cleaning systems.  Bru-Quip will also be putting more effort into the air operated double diaphragm pumps and look forward to increasing their market share.  As there are over a thousand Sethco Drun Pumps already in the market place we will continue to market the Sethco P90 Drum pump range.

A new edition to our range of products is the ECO range of progressive cavity pumps.  We can also supply spares for the Mono and Orbit range of progressive cavity pumps.  Finally Bruce and Rob Shaw who, with twenty two years of experience in the local chemical pump market will not be quitting this market, but will be marketing a polypropylene and PVDF range of pumps from " Someflu " in France.
