The church's in the community are hosting a five full-day children's event called the 'Kids Holiday Club' from 23 – 27 June 2008 at The Baptist House Conference Centre Roodekraans (44 Blende Ave, Roodekrans).

This annual event takes advantage of the school holidays and presents 400 -500  children (ages 6 – 13 yrs) with life skills equipping and character development. We believe that our community is best served by teaching children sound morals so that they are better equipped to make better decisions for themselves. It is also their holiday and with this program are crafts, sports, games, jumping castles and puppet shows.

This event is a non-profit event and its success is primarily on our shoulders, but we gladly present these kids to God and willingly serve them with the Word of God.

Meals : Monday - Curry and Rice  
  Tuesday - Hamburgers x 2  
  Wednesday – Hotdogs x 2  
  Thursday – Russian Rolls x 2   
Snack and juice will be provided twice a day

Friday Night Finale:
Parents and friends are invited to a final show to see their kids sing and receive their awards. All the kids crafts can be collected at this time.
Junior Finale : 18:00 – 19:00
Senioor Finale: 19:30 – 20:30
Coffee and refreshments will be sold.

Helping hands
During the course of the event kids are motivated to bring tin food, old clothes and blankets to the event. All the proceeds will be given to the poor in our area through the churches' compassion ministries. All parents are encouraged to clean out their cupboards and take this opportunity to bless the less privileged.
