This company started out very well, sending us one of their best cleaning ladies, but that was where the good impression stopped!
We have had numerous promises from Thembi from Lizzies Maids about better service, after no one came to our house - having organized them more than a week prior. We were told that they would send one of their best cleaning ladies the next week, who arrived and cleaned the apartment nicely - although I found her sitting watching TV when I arrived home. I would not mind this if all the work was finished, but there was still some things that could have been done. But I left it, because she was one of the better cleaning ladies that Lizzies Maids had sent of thus far.
We thus signed a contact for a month with her to ensure that we would have someone that would come every week, only to be yet again disappointed by her not showing. Lizzies Maids didn't even have the courtesy to phone and inform us (on both occasions) that no one was coming, even though they knew the cleaning lady didn't come to work. This resulted in me being late for work, as I had waited for someone to come. It wasn't until we phoned that we were told that no one was coming!
The service from Lizzies Maids are absolutely terrible! When looking them up on Hello Peter, you find several complaints, but no responds. It looks like Management couldn't care less about resolving the problems in their company. But they are very quick in sending a letter to inform you that you are not allowed to 'poach' their staff (a fine of R5000 is applicable) - this I find impossible as we actually have difficulty to just get their staff to come to our apartment, not even mentioning poaching them!

this is the most unprofessional company i have ever worked with twice noe i have paid them and they never sent anyone to our home after they have read my emails and also emailed me for the dates i required and then when you phone and complain they put the phone down in your ear - Thanks Adele very proffessional of you From : Margaret James
signed a contract in jan with this company looking back now I should have seen this comming, not even a month ofter signing a contract with lizzies maids they tried to increase my rate then when I complained I was treated like dirt, now 5 months down the line I have been having issues with them so as a person does I phoned first time I got to speak to some one but nothing changed now I get told all the staff are in meetings and some one will phone back well needless to say I have been waiting for a month for this call. I have CCTV footage of the maid sleeping on the couch an my wife coming home and having to clean the floors her self PLEASE LISTEN TO ME DON'T BE FOOLED DON'T USE THIS SERVICE I MEAN IT YOU WILL BE SORRY LIKE ME From : Disapointed
Your driver of minibus with registration LDH... Was driving on the wrong side of the road for about 700m down CR swart drive towards President Fouche Drive today at 715 endangering the lives of three maids he was responsible for!!! This complete lack of regards for road laws shows disrespect for the community and is illegal. I noticed a few drivers taking photos so might see yourselves in the randburg sun. I noticed the minibus had no signage but peoples comments were that the pink uniforms of the lady's are unmistakably those of your company. From : Tim
